The Cherrydale Volunteer Fire Department is excited to welcome you to our Fire Prevention Week Open House on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM! FPW Open House will be a one-day event at all firehouses.
This year’s national theme is “Charge into Fire Safety™: Lithium-Ion Batteries in Your Home”—a timely reminder to use, charge, and recycle these powerful devices safely.
What to Expect:
Hands-on gear demonstrations
Family-friendly fire safety activities
Fire truck tours for kids (and kids at heart!)
Meet your local volunteer firefighters and EMTs
Toy collection kickoff for Santa at the Station event on December 7—bring a new, unwrapped toy to help brighten the holidays for local children!
Bring the whole family and learn how you can help keep Cherrydale safe—at home and beyond. Let’s spark some safety together!
